William Gossett was trained in Marines, Army, and Army Air force. He confessed to his three sons, a Utah judge and a friend in Salt Lake that he was D.B Cooper just before his death in 2003. His sons say that he showed them the key to a box in Vancouver that contains the lost ransom money. Other than greatly resembling the sketches the FBI released and being qualified to survive the parachute jump, the FBI have no further evidence linking Gossett to D.B. Cooper.
